CAT Will Pronounce Final Judgement Of 92 Petitions Of College Contractuals Today
The Long Pending Cases Of J&k College contractual Lecturers Titled Mukhtar Ahmad T.A No.297/2021 Vs Higher Education of J&k in the Cat Bench Srinagar more than 92 petitions are clubbed with this case . The court will pronounce their Final judgement today in division bench Coram Hon,ble Justice Mahra and Hon,ble Justice krishna This Judgement Would be the common for all similar petitions linked with this case there are more than 500 lecturers whom the jammu and Kashmir Hon,ble High Court had granted status quo orders and the concerned department was ordained by the top apex court to continue their services till final judgement of court and disburse their salary as per law but after the abrogation of Article 370 New 103 laws to be implemented in jammu and Kashmir besides the establishment of two CAT Benches one for Kashmir division one for Jammu division after establishment of cat bench jammu all the service related matters in High court got transferred to the Central Administrative Tribunal branch jammu after one year similar branch has been established in Kashmir division consequently All pending service matters in Jammu bench pertains to Kashmir division employees got transferred to cat bench Srinagar
in 2021 onwards When the basic petitions of college contractual lecturers got transferred to the tribunal branch of jammu the concerned department not implemented their court orders and are waiting for Final judgement said that whatever the final judgement will be Department will obey and honour to court judgement These petitions was earlier heard by Hon,ble High court after the establishment of Cat bench srinagar the similar petitions got transferred to the Hon,ble Tribunal for common decision the Court concluded the arguments on 28th March 2023 and reserved final order. Finally the court has listed this case today for final judgement. This judgement would be historicial in the central administrative tribunal the timing of the pronouncement of judgement is 10:30 Am today All linked petitions to be listed for today for final judgement.
