The J&K High Court Has listed College contractual Lecturers case on 20th October for Appropriate Order
The jammu and kashmir college contractual teachers had filled a petition in the month of March 2023 against Academic arrangement notification of 2023 which they stated before the Hon,ble the apex court has already granted status quo order in favour of some candidates that the concerned department not comply the order and their engagement has been terminated when the main basic petition still is pending not yet decided by the court. On that basis the petitioners again went to Ho,ble High Court filled the stay petition thus the court accepted the petition and Higher education department was directed not to proceed in the new advertisement notification before engaging the status quo candidates .
The Hon,ble Court passed an order in the wp 365/2023 meanwhile subject to the objections and till next date before the bench the impugned advertisement notice dated 11-2-2023 shall remain stayed qua the posts held by petitioners and further the respondants shall maintain status quo with respects to the posts held by petitioners. Later on some more candidates also filled next stay petition the court also passed the similar order in that petition and mentioned that both to be clubbed for common decision.
On 18-09-2023 the petition titled dr.Mohammad iqbal mir vs Ut of jammu and kashmir Higher education The court passed an order reportedly learned counsel for petitioners has not furnished the list of similar petitions in terms of hon,ble Court order dated 10.5.2023 and orders dated 02-08-2023 Although Parwana Notice issued to the learned counsel for the petitioners in terms of the previous order dated 25-08-2023 had been received back duly served, However list of similar petitions has still not been filled . As such listed the instant matter before the Hon,ble Court on 20-10-2023 for Appropriate orders.
